Baseball Week in Review

This past week the Blue Valley North Baseball team had three important games of their season. Every game is meaningful in the difficult Easter Kansas League conference, one of the best in the state.

This week was Blue Valley West week as the Mustangs took on the Jaguars at both the DAC and BVW. In their first game, senior, Keller Agre pitched a complete game; however, the mustangs came up short losing 3-0.

In their second showdown, junior, Cooper Marks, was the starting pitcher and he went a sold 5 innings. Despite Mark’s performance and a late rally by the Mustangs, the team fell up short again 8-3.

The Mustangs final game came against state ranked, Lawrence Free State and the Mustangs lost another tough one. Despite the rough week, the Mustangs have some more chances as they have four games this week. These games are against Garder-Edgerton, Blue Valley Southwest, twice, and Shawnee Mission South.
