Lighting the night

On Thursday, Oct. 30, North students gathered for a night of food, games and music in preparation for the homecoming dance Nov. 1. A wide variety of clubs set up booths to advertise their groups and provide entertainment for students.

Senior Siddarth Sharma told fortunes and read palms at the Latin Club booth and National Art Honor Society painted faces, while French Club offered bocce ball and a photo opportunity in a guillotine. Several students, including junior Minha Jutt, offered henna tattoos, while the guitar club and Brooks Brown offered musical backdrops to other activities planned by IGNITE, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Asian American Club and the North book club, among other groups. Per tradition, the night ended with fireworks and, of course, a bonfire to light the night and celebrate homecoming week.
