Diana Klote- Yearbook
Where did you work before this and what is your background?
Before this, I worked at Gardner-Edgerton for 2 years and I taught journalism, yearbook, newspaper, and a leadership class there.
What made you come and teach here this year?
I actually graduated from North, so it was nice to come back to the school where I graduated from and I was so excited to be a part of the Blue Valley family because they have such a great reputation and such great kids.
So what is your impression of North so far?
So far, it seems really fun. I liked meeting the rest of the staff on Friday, and it was fun to meet the other teachers, as well as see ones that taught me years ago. It is a little strange, because I do have to call them by their first names now.
What do you want your future students to know about you?
I want them to know I really like food and I really do care about each student that walks through my door, and the ones that I will not have in class.
What are your goals for this year?
For yearbook, I want to produce the best book possible, but in general, I want to learn from a lot of the teachers that are here and they can help me grow in my everyday practice.
Fun facts?
I am a certified scuba diver, I am allergic to mosquitoes, and I was on the yearbook staff at North when I was a student here.
