This Tuesday the National Art and National Junior Art Honor societies inducted their new members from BVN and LMS. The half hour-long ceremony featured speeches from current students, Dr. Crane, and a former student about the importance of art and how much the BVN Art department has meant to their personal, educational, and professional lives. The students speaking were graduating seniors including Anna Krutz who plans on studying art in college.

“The biggest thing that NAHS gave me is a community of artists I can find

rouses and just sort of the community that have the same interests as me,” Krutz said.  

Dr. Crane and all the other teachers in the Art Department will continue to us NAHS and NJAHS to foster the future of BVN art.
