Anthony Sutcliffe, Copy Editor
Anthony Sutcliffe is a junior and Copy Editor of “The North Star.” This is his 1st year on staff. He is excited to write about sports at Blue Valley North. Outside of the newsroom, he enjoys Marching Band, Concert Band and playing baseball.
Paul Struby, Editor in Chief
Paul is a senior and editor-in-chief of “The North Star.” This is his 3rd year on staff. He has covered sportsbetting, the transfer portal and enrollment. Outside of the newsroom, he is a part of the men’s soccer team and enjoys watching sports and hanging out with friends. He is excited to get better at editing and to help create interesting papers for this school year!
Grace Kwak, Staff Writer
Grace is a sophomore and a staff writer of “The North Star.” This is her first year on staff. She’s very interested in covering news about sports, music, theater, student life and campus events. Outside of the newsroom, she’s participating in several school clubs and enjoys writing and reading as hobbies. She is so delighted to be part of “The North Star” and is ready to compile stories for the school newspaper!
Van Freeman, Social Media Editor
Van Freeman is a junior and a Copy-Editor/Social Media Manager for “The North Star.” This is Van’s second year on staff. He has previously written stories about BVN’s art showcase, how teachers view changes throughout the school, reviews of popular TV shows, and more. Outside of the newsroom, Van is involved with theater, student council, and sources of strength. Van is excited to take photos for school events and write great stories.
Tae Tran, Staff Writer
Tae is a sophomore and staff writer. This is their first year on staff and they’re excited to cover pop culture and science. Outside of “The North Star,” they are involved in band, theater and drawing. They’re eager to be able to find out new information about the student public and to take photos for “The North Star.”
