Stella Ain, Copy Editor
Stella Ain is a senior and copy editor of “The North Star.” This is her second year on staff. She has covered social media, feature stories and arts topics and is interested in entertainment, culture and arts and leisure. Outside of the newsroom, she is a part of The Northern Light yearbook staff, StuCo and Gold Out KC. She enjoys reading, listening to Taylor Swift too much and watching rom-coms. She is super excited to be on staff and hopes to continue writing entertaining and thought-provoking stories.
Lexi Newsom, Editor in Chief
Lexi Newsom is a senior and co-editor-in-chief of “The North Star.” This is her third year on staff. She has covered student life and is interested in investigative and environmental journalism. Outside of the newsroom, she loves figure skating, creative writing and watching far too many movies. She is excited to improve as an editor and continue sharing stories with the BVN community.

Anna Sandage is a junior and social media co-editor of “The North Star.” This is her second year on staff. She has covered sporting events and student life, and is interested in sports and photography. Outside of the newsroom, she is a part of Unified Sports, French NHS and Sources of Strength. Outside of the newsroom, she is involved in Sources of Strength, Swim and enjoys photography. She is excited to photograph sports and events as well as bring North stories to life.
