Jessica Assafeen is a senior and staff writer of “The North Star.” This is her first year on staff. She has covered the happiness of students at BVN, what type of music students enjoy listening to, and is interested in student life inside/outside of school and current trends. Outside of the newsroom, she is a part of mustang mentors. She enjoys hanging out with friends, listening to music and doing her nails. She is proud to be on staff and hopes to influence underclassmen to join the newspaper to continue covering topics that are important to students.
