Arshiya Pant, Co-Editor-in-Chief
Arshiya Pant is a senior and co-editor-in-chief of “The North Star.” This is her third year on staff. She has covered local advocacy, the educational curriculum and sociopolitical issues, and is interested in civics, culture and politics. Outside of the newsroom, she is a part of Race Project KC, Overland Park’s Teen Council and the Johnson County Youth Court. She enjoys reading, playing blues rock on her guitar and drinking slightly – ok fine, very – concerning amounts of coffee. She is beyond thrilled to serve as an EIC and hopes to continue to provide quality journalism that informs, enriches and strengthens the BVN community.
